On Wednesday night ESPY Awards 2016 live, athletes will trade in their cleats and sneakers for more sophisticated footwear as the ESPY Awards 2016 roll out the red carpet for the biggest names and personalities in sports. For the first time,  the show will honor three retiring athletes with the award. Justin Timberlake is set to present The 2016 ESPY Awards ′ Icon Award to a trio of athletes at Wednesday night’s ceremony. ESPY Awards 2016 live online

The awards show will honor three retiring athletes with the award: previous Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant; Denver Broncos’ late Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning; and Olympic gold medalist and expert soccer player Abby Wambach.

Bryant, Manning and Wambach will all be in participation to acknowledge the honor as a feature of an “uncommon presentation” by Timberlake.

ABC will air the ESPY Awards 2016 live on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. WWE champion John Cena will serve as the current year’s host. Watch ESPY Awards 2016 live

Grants will be distributed in classes including “Best Upset,” “Best Championship Performance,” “Best Coach/Manager” and that’s only the tip of the iceberg, spotlighting competitors from hockey, golf, activity sports like surfing and snowboarding and those with inabilities, among others. Source
